We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit stitchwell.co.uk, why we collect it, and how we use it. We aim to keep this plain and honest — no unnecessary legal jargon.

Who we are

Stitchwell Ltd provides premium embroidered scrubs for private dental and aesthetic clinics across the UK. Our website is stitchwell.co.uk and you can contact us at hello@stitchwell.co.uk.

What data we collect and why

When you request a quote or contact us

We collect the details you submit in our order form: your name, practice name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order details (range, sizes, colours, staff names to embroider). We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote, and fulfil your order. This data is submitted to Formspree (see third-party services below) and sent to us by email. We do not store it in a database.

When you make a payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you click "Pay securely now" you are taken to Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data and is PCI-DSS compliant. Stripe may collect additional data under their own privacy policy.

Analytics and site usage

With your consent, we use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Collects anonymised data about pages visited, time spent on site, and general location (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymised. We use this to understand which pages are working and where people drop off. Data is held by Google — see Google's privacy policy.
Microsoft Clarity
Records anonymised session replays and heatmaps showing how visitors interact with the page — where they click, scroll and pause. Clarity automatically masks all form fields (names, email addresses, and other personal data are never captured in recordings). We use this to improve the ordering experience. Data is held by Microsoft — see Microsoft's privacy policy. You can opt out of Clarity across all sites at clarity.microsoft.com/optout.

Both analytics tools are consent-gated. Neither loads until you click "Accept cookies" on our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.

Cookies

We use cookies only for analytics (GA4 and Clarity), and only after you give consent. We also store your cookie preference in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again. We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking across other sites, or any purpose other than understanding how our site is used.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or cookies for stitchwell.co.uk.

Third-party services we use

How long we keep your data

Quote and order enquiries are kept in our email inbox for up to 3 years for business record-keeping purposes, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in GA4 (Google's default) and 13 months in Clarity.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@stitchwell.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if our data practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect any changes.
